  • 2 tsp chaat masala powder
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp cashew nuts, cut into pieces

How to make Punjabi Samosa

  • Firstly, to make Punjabi Samosa cut green chilies, ginger, and coriander and mix all the ingredients well. Now knead a stiff dough and set it aside for 10 minutes so that it sets. Now divide this doe into the roundness required for samosas.
  • Now heat ghee in the pan and add cumin seeds to it to make the masala. When the cumin starts crackling, add ginger and fry it. Now put all the remaining ingredients in it and fry it for 5 minutes. Now add potatoes and mix well.
  • To make the outer cover of the samosa, roll the dough into a thin oval shape and cut it into 2 cm circles. Take a semi-circle and apply water on its edges. Hold it in your hand, fold it straight to the edge, attach it to the edge, make it a pocket in a triangular shape.
  • Now fill the potato mixture and close it. Prepare all the samosas in this way. Now deep fry the samosas till they turn golden brown. Your Punjabi Samosas are ready. Serve them hot with chutney or sauce.
